This statuette represents a seated figure, holding a bowl in his right hand while his left rests on his left knee. The man is bearded and his hair is indicated by locks ending in curls. This detail is typical of the heads of statues carved for Katuwa. All the attention is focused on the head, a little disproportionate compared to the body which is rendered schematically. We find some identical statues in Ebla or even in Tell Halaf (Syria)
Cette statuette représente un personnage assis, tenant un bol dans sa main droite tandis que sa gauche repose sur son genou gauche. L'homme est barbu et ses cheveux son indiqués par des mèches terminées de boucles. Ce détail est typique des têtes de statues sculptées pour Katuwa. Toute l'attention est portée sur la tête, un peu disporoportionnée par rapport au corps qui est rendu de manière schématique. On retrouve quelques statues identiques à Ebla ou encore à Tell Halaf (Syrie)
